There was a originally distributed with SciTe but removed in the latest version because it wasn't supported called 'AutoItMacroGenerator'. I use it all the time to generate starter scripts when I'm installing software. It will record what controls you click and give you an autoit script.

It doesn't record keypress info but you can click on a text box (which will be recorded as a click) then use that information to enter data into the text box when you write your script.
