I've just used mptool, having put an MP150 in low level mode first. The mptool is said to have worked on the MP150 by danlcc in another forum. I've reset everything with mptool, but still when returning the printer to normal mode I get the error E5 message. If I run mptool again, I still get 100% on all cartridges. If I read the MP150 eeprom with mptool I get a small file of 512 bytes consisting of a single repeated datum. This is obviously not the printer's firmwear. Maybe there's a communication problem between mptool and the printer.
