Hp Colorado T3000 Drivers
I'm too lazy to look up to see how old the t3000 is, but i assume that you know. If it is significantly older than win2k pro, then it will not have win2k drivers and must be discarded/sold/given away. Older tape drives that don't show up on win2k are usually so old that they will not get drivers. As for what to buy, get anything that's new and get the biggest and best you can afford. Just make sure it's compatible with win2k and has a win2k-compatible backup utility, of course. Personally,i use a seagate stt-8000n scsi tape backup, but i have to use win2k's backup program because the stt-8000n does not come with win2k-compatible backup utility software. Hope this helps.
Re: HP Colorado T3000 Software Well truthfully Microsoft doesn't even support win 98 anymore so that's probably the best solution. As far as tape drives go, HP has an excellent USB selection of DAT drives that are very reliable.
